Mother's Day "Kool Moms" - - And the Winner Is...

This past Mother's Day, we sponsored a contest on Barrie Radio Station 107.5 Kool FM.

We thought you might want to hear the thank-you telephone call that the Grand Prize Winner, Katrina, made to Kool FM, the day after she and her mother came to Cascada.

The Story:

Three times a day, for two weeks leading up to Mother's Day, Kool FM took qualifiers for our Grand Prize - a complete day of pampering in our Salon and Spa for Mother and Daughter!

Needless to say, it was a popular contest, especially since everyone who qualified for the grand prize draw also won a free Microdermabrasion facial treatment... so congratulations to all our winners.

The Grand Prize winner was Austin, a young man who wanted his mom, Katrina, to have a day at the spa. Katrina was thrilled, and since the prize was for two, she treated her Mother to the prize as well! How fantastic was that?!

Tears of Joy

I am a new client to Cascada - I have tried many salons in the Barrie area and quite frankly have not found one that I really was happy with. I was by your shop last weekend and thought - well why not give them a try - what have I got to lose? So I booked in for a haircut. I had my appointment last night.

For the first time in the my life I received a haircut that made me cry - not with sadness but with happiness! I absolutely love it!!! I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I am with your staff and your store. I will definitely be back - in fact I have already booked my next appointment for colour. I hope to also take advantage of your other services.

Impressed with Spaciousness and Layout

Today I had an appointment for a facial at Cascada Salon and Spa for the first time. When I walked in, I was immediately impressed with the spaciousness and with the layout of the salon. It is very large and open with great decor. Other salons that I have been to are very small and crowded so I was very impressed with the size of Cascada's salon. My sister and I had facials each done at the same time. We were in the same room, which was really great. The spa was also spacious and beautiful. Our estheticians were very nice, thorough and professional. We really enjoyed our time at Cascada and this salon will definitely be our first choice next time! We will definitely return.

Outstanding Service

Pre-prom night, and your staff was hopping busy. I am the mother of a Tom-Boy named Sarah. Cascada made her into the beautiful young lady that she is. But not only that, your staff all made her feel like she was the most important person there! The service was outstanding. Thank you ladies for the wonderful experience. My daughter will never forget this. I'M TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW! I am so impressed that I am planning to coming back on Mother's Day with our 3 generations of mothers. You have gained two new clients with my daughter and I. The next time I'm by, I will bring in pictures of Sarah in her dress. The look on her face says it all.

Open on Sundays

I was very pleased with my service. I could not book an appt during the week and I was told that the Salon was now open on Sundays. That in itself really is a wonderful service to those of us that work in the city during the week and commute... My esthetician was very pleasant and attentive.

A Relaxing Visit

I had my first spa visit on Friday. I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely your place is. The area where pedicures are done was quite relaxing and the young lady that did my pedicure was very nice and she did a great job. I will definitely be back.

Will Definitely be Back

It has been a trying time for me, as I have not had a new hairdresser in 11 years. My stylist told me not to worry and that she would take good care of me. She did exactly has she said she would. She did a great job, not only with the colour, but with her attitude, the hair style, everything. I definitely will be back to see her.

My Stylist Knew Exactly What I Wanted

I enjoyed my first visit very much. I went because someone had given me a Gift Certificate. I live about 45 minutes away and will come back for sure. My Stylist knew exactly what I wanted. She was very friendly and was able to give my some choices on different styles that would suit me.

Treated like a Queen and Loving it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 hour experience at Cascada Salon and Spa. I was treated like a queen and loved every minute of it. I've had the pleasure of experiencing a wonderfully relaxing European facial, a body scrub, hand and scalp massage and body massage. On another occasion I had my hair cut and styled. I left feeling and almost looking like Halle Berry. Just lovely! Every time I visit Cascada I am treated very well, the staff is very friendly and quite welcoming.

Staff Made Me Feel at Ease

I recently had my first treatment for removal (laser) of sun spots. [hyper pigmentation] Cata was very professional, friendly and made me feel completely at ease (I was a little nervous!). I am returning for a 2nd treatment.
